Joined the Community Builders Org to deliver on several large, strategic initiatives to scale up Facebook communities and better align the community entities ecosystem.
Our efforts opened up eligibility for 60% of public groups to migrate to community profiles from a feature availability standpoint, well on track to meet our goal of 82% eligibility by the end of the second half of 2022.
We addressed hard blockers to testing, like privacy disclosures and feature parity between groups and community profiles, enabling us to start transitioning groups to community profiles. By removing these blockers, we contributed to an opt in rate of 4.5%, exceeding our benchmark of 3% by 1.5x.
We identified latent demand for ads by opening up professional functionality for former group admins, seeing 2% of transitioned groups running ads organically with significant upside potential if concerted adoption levers were applied.
We launched education and cold start interventions to kickstart admin production on their new profile feeds, leading to a 61% activation rate, exceeding our PMF goal of 50%.
We had sustained engagement, meeting our ecosystem goals of a 2% engagement rate.
Was also part of a 4-person Quality Champions team where we created training and awareness on AX18 (accessibility) & i18n (Internalization) for Product and Content Designers, adopted org wide.
